Flight Operations

Our flight crew represent Cityjet every day while delivering services on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines.

We welcome applications from experienced CRJ pilots and regularly provide CRJ type-rating programmes for suitable candidates. We also recruit experienced cabin crew and provide comprehensive initial training for those beginning their aviation careers.

Training is centred at our facilities in Copenhagen, with simulator training delivered through approved training partners.

Flight crew are currently based in Copenhagen and Stockholm, operating our fleet of CRJ900 aircraft throughout Scandinavia and across Europe. Many duties involve overnight stays away from base, with accomadation and allowances provided in accordance with company policy.

Every flight is operated on behalf of our customer airline while maintaining the professional standards and operational excellence that define CityJet.

Operations & Corporate Services

Keeping an airline flying requires a well-coordinated team on the ground to ensure everything runs smoothly and that all parts of the organisation are focused on the same end goal - operating safe and efficient flights for our customer airline. Our ground-based support organisation is at the heart of our service delivery.

We offer a wide range of ground-based roles across Dublin, Copenhagen and London Luton and frequently recruit for talented people to join our teams.

Our head office located at Dublin Airport is home to the majority of our business support functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Safety and Compliance as well as our dynamic Operations Control Centre managing the 24/7 movement of our aircraft.

Our crew planning and rostering centre is based near Luton Airport, London, whilst our Copenhagen Airport office supports our Crew Management, HR, Shared Services, Security and Technical departments.

Where operationally appropriate, many office-based roles offer hybrid working arrangements.

Technical Services

Technical excellence is fundamental to the safe and reliable operation of our fleet. Our maintenance facility at Hanger 3, Copenhagen Airport, provides line maintenance and technical support. Our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), based in Dublin, ensures our aircraft continue to meet the highest regulatory and safety standards.

Technical opportunities regularly arise across our maintenance and technical teams, particularly in Copenhagen, supporting one of Europe's leading regional ACMI operations.

Working at CityJet

Our culture is built on openness, respect and collaboration. Every employee contributes to our success and we encourage people to share ideas, raise concerns and participate in shaping the future of the business.
Regular company-wide briefings with senior leadership provide open communication and the opportunity for employees to ask questions directly.
We support employees wellbeing through flexible working practices where possible and recognise the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Through our CityCare programme, employees can nominate charities and community organisations for company support, while wider corporate initiatives continue to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate.
Environmental responsibility also forms part of our long-term strategy. Our CRJ900 fleet is compatible with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and we continue to work with industry partners to improve operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact through modern flying techniques, energy-efficient facilities and support for future aviation technologies.
Above all, we take pride in delivering safe, reliable and professional services for our airline partner. That shared commitment is what makes Operated by CityJet something every member of our team can be proud of.
