I.T. Helpdesk Administrator
Reporting directly to the I.T. Manager, primary duties and responsibilities are to:
• Provide first line technical support and guidance to customers, predominantly by taking Service Desk telephone calls.
• Resolve calls where possible and/or ensure they are reported to the relevant person within IT.
• Ensure that every call taken is logged.
• Maintain all inventory records, ensuring they are kept up to date at all times.
• Monitor all loan equipment from IT.
• Assist with rollouts, laptop/PC builds, desk moves, new users etc
• Any other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft XP, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, PC/Laptop hardware.
• 2 years customer service or help-desk experience.
• Experience of disk imaging products ( Norton Ghost, DriveImage ).
• Knowledge of Anti-viral/Anti-spam software.
