Recruitment - Line Maintenance Engineer

Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

    • Line Engineers are required to have completed a recognised Aeronautical Apprenticeship or fulfilled the requirements of JAR 66
    • Line Engineers are required to work on a shift roster four days on four days off, four nights on four days off working twelve hours, time or work as per station roster or as required by the Shift Supervisor or his immediate Manager
    • Line Engineers primary function is to maintain company aircraft in an airworthy condition in accordance with Company and National Authority procedures.
    • He/she is responsible for technical dispatch reliability of aircraft placed under their control.
    • Responsible for safe operation of all ground equipment that they are tasked to do.
    • Provide assistance during disruption and shift relief during leave and illness at Dublin, CDG Paris or at any station as directed.
    • Keep current in all aspects of technical advancements.
    • Present themselves for Company Approvals when the necessary experience has been gained.
    • Provide training for new entrants to Line Maintenance.
    • Operate Company vehicles in a safe responsible manner.
    • Ensure driving and airport passes are kept current at all time.
    • Where applicable keep JAR 66 or National Authority engineer Licenses current.

 

Requirements:

    • Applicants should have a minimum qualification of a completed Aeronautical
    • Apprenticeship along with EASA Part 66 Category A, B1 or B2 license, or completed modules towards the EASA Part 66 categories listed previously.
    • Suitably qualified personnel will be offered full type courses.
    • Preference will be given to applicants holding EASA Part 66 Category B1, B2 or C
      on BAe146/RJ aircraft or on a similar type aircraft.
