Leinster Rugby and CityJet are proud to team up.
As official airline to Leinster Rugby, CityJet is proud to carry the two time Magners League winners, and 2009 Heineken Cup champions, on their journey around Europe in search of silverware.
The airline has signed a three year contract with Leinster. In recent seasons the Leinster team has developed a reputation for being tough and very difficult to beat, while being capable of playing attractive and exciting rugby. The playing squad, led by head coach Joe Schmidt and captain Leo Cullen boasts world class home-grown rugby players, overseas talent and ambitious indigenous talent in a fusion of youth, experience, commitment and passion.
Backed by a support base drawn from the 12 counties of Leinster, the team will travel with CityJet to 11 away matches in the Magners League across Wales, Scotland and Italy and to England and France in the Heineken Cup pool stages.
Michael Dawson, CEO Leinster Rugby said: ''CityJet provides a high quality, professional service to their scheduled passengers and they remind me of what flying used to be like. We are delighted to enter into this relationship with CityJet.''
Pat Byrne, Chairman of CityJet, said: '' This association with Leinster rugby is a tremendous opportunity for CityJet to deepen our links with our mutual and growing band of loyal followers.''
