Public transport
The 33 Bus service runs between Rotterdam Airport and the city's central station in around 20 minutes.

From the 12th December 2010, RandstadRail will provide quick and easy access to the airport from The Hague, Leidschendam, Pijacker, Zoetermeer and Rotterdam Central Station, amongst others. The train stops at Meijersplein metrostation. From here an airport shuttle takes you to the terminal in just a few minutes.

To use public transport in Rotterdam, you will need the 'OV-chipkaart' (Public Transport Chip Card), which can be purchased from AKO, a newsagent at the airport. Further information can be found on www.rotterdamthehagueairport.nl/ov.

The Euromast in Rotterdam, the highest lookout tower in the Netherlands, is not easily surpassed. When it was built in 1960 in honour of the international garden festival, the Floriade, it rose 104 meters above the city and its industrious port. During the ten years after its construction, other buildings were built in the Netherlands, rising toward the heavens with the aim of achieving a certain status. By 1970, the Euromast still rose higher than all the other structures. A Space Tower was set atop its mighty shoulders, bringing the Euromast to its current impressive height of 185 meters.
