| CityJet destination guide Milan
What's happening September/October in Milan While Milan doesn't have the wealth of classic sights that Florence and Rome have, there's still plenty here to make it an exciting city. An essential stop for every visitor is Leonardo da Vinci's Last supper (Santa Maria delle Grazie, Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie), which miraculously survived when the church was bombed during the Second World War. Another must-see is the Gothic Duomo with it's 3,500 statues and 135 spires. Make sure you talk on its roof-on a clear day you can see the Alps.
