What's happening - September/October in Eindhoven Go treasure hunting in the area 'Het Oog' of the Van Abbemuseum and you could get your self a diamond. Het Oog( The Eye) is an open-air area in the museum that offers a stage to artists to create new work during a six-month period. Turkish artist Ahmet Ogut has filled the entire space with twelve tonnes of coal and buried a little piece of the museum in his man-made moutain. Stones are cut and fashioned into jewellery on site and an accompanied tour costing €8 includes a cutting demonstration. The shop also sells uncut stones, shells and fossils. The shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday and the museum is only open on Saturdays.
