What's happening - September/October in Dundee Spend the night under the stars in a grown up treehouse in the grounds of Fernie Castle, just outside Dundee. Perched in six lofty sycamores that grow right through the floor and up out the roof, entry is via a flight of stairs to a balcony where double doors with striking stained-glass windows lead you into the bedroom. Treehouse aside, Fernie Castle is an excellent choice for business meetings, seminars and corporate entertaining . They can cater for meetings of delegates from four to 180, in the splendid surroundings. www.ferniecastle.co.uk

KNOWLEDGE
Camperdown Country Park is Dundee's largest public park and owes its name to the victory of Admiral Adam Duncan over the Dutch fleet in 1797 at the Battle of Camperdown, off the Dutch coast (www.camperdownpark.com). Home to events such as the Flower and Food Festival, it has a wildlife centre and adventure play area.
