Things to do in Dundee - February/March St Andrews Links Golf Academy is one of Europe’s best instructional centres, and the latest addition to the state-of-the-art facilities is the Advanced Motion Measurement (AMM) biomechanics system. The electromagnetic system uses small sensors to detect rotational and translational movement of the segments of a golfer’s body during the swing and is used by a number of top players on the PGA Tour. Golfers of all levels can benefit from a biomechanics session and in addition to improving performance, the system can also help to reduce injury. The St Andrews Links Golf Academy delivers coaching through its team of PGA professionals and club fitting services through the Custom Fit Centre. Golfers of all abilities are catered for from beginner to professional and a range of programmes are available covering all aspects of the game. www.standrews.org.uk/academy

KNOWLEDGE
Camperdown Country Park is Dundee's largest public park and owes its name to the victory of Admiral Adam Duncan over the Dutch fleet in 1797 at the Battle of Camperdown, off the Dutch coast (www.camperdownpark.com). Home to events such as the Flower and Food Festival, it has a wildlife centre and adventure play area.
