Taxis
A taxi from the Airport to Deauville costs around €20 and takes around 15 minutes. 

Public Transport
The airport is well served by a local bus service between Deauville and the Airport. Additionally a privately operated shuttle service operates between the Airport and the principal towns of Normandy. For more information contact the airport authority or the tourism office.

Car parking
The car park now has 600 spaces, so there's no need to book your parking space in advance! 
The parking fee is paid when you return from your travels at one of the three pay machines (bank cards or coins). It is open, outdoor and unmonitored. 

Chauffeur service

American Film Festival

The Chic town of Deauville is bursting with culture and history. This year they are celebrating their 150th Anniversary and have an impressive calendar of events. Long associated with equestrian events, the city's racecourse features horse racing throughout July and August. Between the 2nd & 10th of August, music lovers can savour the orchestral sound which fills the air during the classical music festival.

However, it's film which Deauville is best known. The American film festival-now in its 36th year-attracts some of the biggest actors and directors from Hollywood. The festival runs from the 3rd to 12th of September and offers a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere to the madness of Cannes. Films are screened throughout the day at various cinemas and with an impressive guest list, spotting a Hollywood star is almost guaranteed.

The Morny Market

The market beside Place Morny is the best place to pick up local French produce including Camembert, Pont l'Eveque and Livarot, as well as great wines and cider.  If your passion is fashion, browse the designer boutiques of Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Hermes in the streets around the casino in environment far more relaxed than in Paris or London.

If you're looking for a more traditional French seaside town take the tiny foot ferry linking Deauville to its more relaxed neighbour, Trouville. It trundles between Deauville's quai des Yachts and Trouville's casino and offers a fun way to get to the nearby resort.
