The Assistant Pricing & Flight Analyst reports to the Pricing Manager and will play a key role in developing, supporting and implementing a pricing structure that will optimise revenue. The objective of this position is to optimise yield and load factor on all CityJet routes. He/She will work closely with the Pricing and Revenue Managers. In addition the Assistant Pricing & Flight Analyst will be assigned to a number of markets and/or routes for which he/she holds pricing/revenue responsibility and inventory control. He/She will also be assigned a number of focus areas (projects). This role will also interface with our counterparts at Air France – KLM (AFKL) and international partner brands. The Assistant Pricing & Flight Analyst role is currently based in Antwerp. As CityJet is headquartered in Dublin, and with offices in London, Antwerp and Paris, candidates are expected to be internationally mobile. Reporting to the Pricing Manager, duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Pricing for assigned Routes and/or Markets:
In order to understand market dynamics and re-adjust pricing strategy, the Assistant Pricing & Flight Analyst will:-
o Identify opportunities
o Evaluate pricing decisions
o Optimise inventory steering
o Carry out route specific performance analysis
Define and implement medium and long term pricing strategy in line with CityJet Group strategy, in line with central policies and guidelines.
Manage corporate pricing.
Manage tactical pricing.
Flight Analyst / Route Control responsibilities:
Responsible for a number of routes on our expanding network.
Ensure flight settings, per booking class and fares are correctly distributed to the market.
Set the right price, at the right time, to the right customer, in the right market.
Ensure a daily Watch & Match process is in place
Responsible for ad hoc group pricing.
Qualifications/ Desirable Attributes / Skills Required:
University degree (or equivalent education or working experience)
Preferably 2 years work experience (ideally in a commercial environment)
Fluent in English language
Analytical
Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
Commercially strong and results driven
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel internationally
Positive ‘can do’ attitude/flexibility
Ability to persuade, influence and build relationships at all levels and functions
Proactive, flexible and a team player
