What happens if my bag is delayed?

If you have already reported your delayed baggage at the airport, you will be contacted directly once the bag arrives to arrange delivery.

What is CityJet’s cabin bag policy?

You are permitted to take one piece of cabin baggage and one small personal item (laptop bag, hand bag, shopping bag) on board limited to the following weights and dimensions:

 AVRO RJ85 - 55cm x 35cm x 25cm -  12 kgs
 FOKKER-50 - 47.5cm x 35cm x 20cm - 12kgs

How do I book a ticket online?

You can book a ticket online by going to our website and clicking plan your Trip then selecting Book a Flight.

Who do I contact if I want to change or cancel my flight?

You can change your flight online via Manage Booking section.

Alternatively, please call our Contact Centre who will be happy to assist you.

If you booked your flight with a travel agent or partner airline, please contact them directly.

What are the reasons that flights might be delayed?

Unfortunately, flights can sometimes be delayed which are outside of our control. Reasons can include weather, air traffic control restrictions, and industrial action.

How do I know if I am flying with CityJet or a code share flight?

Your flight number indicates the airline that you purchased your ticket with and it will also show on your ticket which airline you are flying with. This will be displayed as ‘Flight Operated by CityJet’.

What is CityJet’s cancellation policy?

If a City Jet flight is cancelled, you can request a refund by completing the Refund Form.

If you choose to cancel your flight, you can request a refund by completing the Refund Form.

The refund will be processed according to our fares terms and conditions.

What is CityJet’s policy regarding delays?

City Jet will issue compensation in line with Regulation EC 261 / 2004. You can find more information here.

How do international strikes affect flights?

Some strikes can affect CityJet flights, including air traffic control strikes. In the event your flight may be affected, we will make every effort to notify you in advance.

What personal documents do I need to fly?

It is necessary that you have carry identification with you. A passport is preferred, but a
 driver’s license may be used to fly between Ireland and the UK if you are an Irish or UK citizen.

When is a voucher issued?

Gift vouchers can be purchased via our Contact Centre or requested online below.
Unfortunately, vouchers cannot be transferred to a another person once issued.

What types of aircraft are in CityJet’s fleet?

City Jet currently has Bombardier CRJ 900s, Sukhoi Superjet RRJ-95Bs and AVRO RJ85s.

Are pets allowed on City Jet Flights?

While City Jet loves pets, under London City and Dublin airport rules pets are not allowed on flights. Pets are also not allowed in the cabin. However, service animals are allowed on most flights. Please get in touch with the Contact Centre for more information when in doubt.
