  • 1994: City Jet founded, operating Dublin to London City, 2 aircraft.
  • May 1997: Start of Air France relationship operating Dublin to Charles De Gaulle on wet-lease.
  • March 1999: Award of Dublin to Charles De Gaulle franchise. Operates Charles De Gaulle to London City, Florence and Strasbourg on wet-lease.
  • October 2000: Dublin to London City ceased. More wet-lease added. Fleet grows to 8 BAe146 aircraft.
  • March 2001: Award of franchise routes Charles De Gaulle to London City and Florence. Dublin to Malaga also commenced as Code Share. Fleet size now at 11 BAe 146 aircraft.
  • March 2002: Award of Charles De Gaulle to Gothenburg and Edinburgh as Franchise.
  • March 2003: Launch of Online Facility. Recommencement of Dublin to London City.
  • Winter 03: Award of Charles De Gaulle to Zurich as Franchise. Recommenced Dublin to London City. 14 Aircraft.Summer 04: Increase of Dublin to London City to 5 a day / 16 aircraft, serving TRN, AMS, STR, BSL and PAU on wet lease.
  • Summer 05: Cessation of wet lease activities. Takeover of CDGBHX - 6 Rotations per day. 18 aircraft by end of season.Winter 05: Addition of overnight LCY to Paris, cessation of Dublin - Malaga. CityJet now operating approx 82 scheduled sectors per day on 8 franchise routes for Air France
  • Winter 05: Addition of overnight LCY to Paris, cessation of Dublin - Malaga. CityJet now operating approx 82 scheduled sectors per day on 8 franchise routes for Air France
  • Summer 06: Introduction of 7th Frequency on DUB and FLR to Charles de Gaulle. CityJet now operating approx 86 scheduled sectors per day on 8 franchise routes for Air France with 20 Aircraft.
  • Winter 06: CityJet announce it has concluded negotiations for the acquisition of 23 AVRO RJ85 aircraft with a value of $221m. The phased introduction of the new aircraft from November 2006 represents a significant investment not only in fleet replacement, but also in the comapny's future.
  • Summer 07: CityJet for Air France a new network launched out of London City Airport.  New routes include Belfast City, Geneva, Madrid, Nice and Zurich with Dundee and Edinburgh to be operated on a codeshare basis with our partners Scot Airways
  • Winter 07: CityJet launch a twice daily Shannon Paris CDG servies linking the West to Paris and the Air France worldwide network.  Expansion from London City continues with the Eindhoven London City service.
  • Summer 08: CityJet win the PSO route Ireland West Airport (formerly Knock) to Dublin.  Services expected to begin July 08.
